“My Love Patzzi”

Sypnosis:

Jang Na Ra plays a bad tempered girl who had often been outshined by Hong Eun Hee when they were young. Since young, they had not been able to stand each other, yet ironically, they meet again as adults and work in the same amusement park as a result of the meeting. Hong Eun Hee plays the total opposite of Jang Nara’s character as the angelic and beautiful character seen on the outside, but deep inside is full of jealousy and cunning schemes of selfishness. Hence, when Jang Nara begins to work in the amusement park, Hong Eun Hee’s workplace, the rivalry of the two is sparked as Jang Nara receives the attention of the son of the amusement park owner (Kim Jae Won) and Jang Nara’s childhood crush (Kim Rae Won).

My Review:

It’s a highly addictive drama. I enjoyed watching every minute of it. It’s a light and fluffy romantic comedy with lovable characters. I like that the female lead wasn’t the typical angelic or damsel in distress that they usually have in dramas. It was refreshing to see a female lead who was loud, ill-tempered and had no problem saying whatever is on her mind.

As always, the two actors are very easy on the eyes.  This is what I love about K-dramas, they always have really good looking guys (I wonder where they find these men… I don’t think I’ve ever bumped into a tall and hot Korean guy *lol*).  Anyway, I’m now a fan of Kim Rae Won — I can’t believe I’ve never heard of him before.  This is my second drama with Jae Won playing a supporting role.  Honestly, I think he’s better at playing a supporting role than being the lead…. I mean, he is good looking (he has that boy next door look) but I prefer male leads to ooze sexiness. *heh*

As for the ending… hmmm ….I’m not quite sure what to think of it. It was cute, but very vague. It left me wondering what really happened between the leads. Did they become lovers or stayed friends? I wished they added an episode or two to show more of their relationship.

Overall, great drama and a must watch.

My Rating: 4.8 / 5 stars (only because of the vague ending)
