Sypnosis:

Hong Sun Hee (Choi Jin Shil) is a strong, happy go lucky housewife who accidentally meets her first love, Jang Dong Chul (Jung Joon Ho), again. But now he is known as Song Jae Bin to the whole entire world. Dong Chul became a famous star and didn’t recognize Sun Hee the first time that they met because she looked like an old ahjooma. But back in high school, she was the prettiest girl. Sun Hee is already married to a man who always lands their family in debts.

My Review:

“Be my housekeeper forever. Your pay will be everything I earn”

Not your typical proposal, but I found that line incredibly romantic. :) This drama was a gem — very cute, romantic and funny! I’ve put off watching this drama because the leads were a bit older compared to the dramas that I usually watch. I’m really glad that I’ve decided to give it a chance… after a couple episodes, I was completely hooked. I love the characters.  The male lead’s role was so charming — you can’t help but fall in love with his boyish charms.  As for the female lead, she was great at playing the “ajumma”. At first, I couldn’t see how a popular actor could fall in love with this housewife with crazy hair and big hideous glasses, but as the story progressed, I found the relationship between the leads so freakin’ cute and funny that you can’t help but love them.

My Rating: 5/5 — It’s definitely a must watch and it has climbed up to my top 5 :)
